The Kinesiology Association of Saskatchewan a provincial, members-based nonprofit organization focused on fulfilling our mission; that is, to advance kinesiology in Saskatchewan. This involves working with government, other nonprofits, allied health care professionals, and both the University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina. We advocate for the profession and work to improve career prospects, work conditions, wages, and more for our members.
We are a Provincial Kinesiology Association under the nationwide Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, acting alongside other PKAs and the CKA to advance kinesiology across Canada.
Working with our national partner, the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, we provide professional services and advocacy for our Members. We negotiate for fair professional treatment, lobby for advancement of the profession, promote exciting research opportunities, and provide other awareness and advocacy activities.
The Canadian Kinesiology Alliance is a national nonprofit organization with similar goals and operations to the Kinesiology Association of Saskatchewan, but on a national level.
